1. Rehabilitation by the NHSU

State Enterprise "Clinical Sanatorium named after Pirogov" at Kuyalnik resort signed a contract with the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU) in 2025 for rehabilitation under Service Package No. 54 "Rehabilitation of adults and children in outpatient settings."

Under this service package, you can receive rehabilitation in outpatient settings (without accommodation and meals) free of charge.

Getting free rehabilitation from the NHSU is very simple!

1.1 How to get rehabilitation

  1. If you have a condition that qualifies for rehabilitation, visit your family doctor, who will issue an electronic referral for "Non-hospital medical rehabilitation" (CODE A57001).
  2. With the electronic referral, visit a doctor of physical and rehabilitation medicine at the sanatorium’s polyclinic department.
  3. Undergo rehabilitation according to the list of services in Package No. 54.

1.2 Rehabilitation is provided for the following conditions:

  • Musculoskeletal system: injuries, bone fractures, sprains, ligament tears, dislocations, bruises, osteochondrosis, arthrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, postoperative rehabilitation.
  • Nervous system: spinal cord diseases and injuries, post-surgical spinal conditions, post-stroke recovery, intervertebral hernias, cerebral palsy (CP), neuritis, tunnel syndrome.

1.3 Rehabilitation treatment methods

  • Consultation with a doctor of physical and rehabilitation medicine;
  • Psychologist consultation;
  • Psychotherapy;
  • Occupational therapy;
  • Physical therapy;
  • Mechanotherapy;
  • Therapeutic exercise and more.

2. Cooperation with the Departments of Social Policy of Ukraine

The State Enterprise "Clinical Sanatorium named after Pirogov" at Kuyalnik resort is a multidisciplinary facility that cooperates with the Departments of Social Policy of Ukraine in sanatorium-resort treatment.

2.1 Who can receive sanatorium-resort treatment

  • Persons with disabilities;
  • Persons with disabilities due to war;
  • Victims of the Chornobyl disaster;
  • Combat veterans;
  • Labor veterans;
  • Family members of deceased (deceased) war veterans;
  • Family members of deceased (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine.

2.2 Profiles of sanatorium-resort treatment

  • Musculoskeletal system;
  • Nervous system;
  • Spinal diseases;
  • Gynecological diseases;
  • Urological diseases;
  • Circulatory system diseases;
  • Skin diseases;
  • Respiratory diseases.

2.3 How to get a voucher

  1. Contact the Social Protection Department (SPD).
  2. Have the appropriate status and be registered in the queue for receiving a voucher.
  3. Availability of state or local funding.
  4. Properly issued certificate 070/o.

The duration of sanatorium-resort treatment: from 18 to 21 days.
