Galvanization involves applying special electrodes to the affected area of the body or the projection zone of the organ. Through these electrodes, a low-intensity direct electric current is applied, which serves to deliver the medicinal preparation into the deep layers of the tissues.

Due to the properties of the direct electric current, the medicinal substances contained in the moist pad of the electrode are attracted to the negative pole and penetrate into the body tissues. This allows achieving a high concentration of the active substance in the affected areas, providing the most effective therapeutic effect.

Galvanization has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic, vasodilating and trophic effects. It contributes to the improvement of blood circulation and microcirculation in the tissues, accelerates the regeneration of damaged structures.

Main indications for galvanization:

- diseases of the musculoskeletal system (arthrosis, arthritis, osteochondrosis);
- neuralgias and neuropathies of the peripheral nervous system;
- trophic disorders (ulcers, bedsores, trophic disorders of the extremities);
- inflammatory diseases of muscles, tendons, joints;
- gynecological and urological diseases;
- peripheral vascular diseases.

Contraindications to galvanization include:

- acute inflammatory processes;
- cardiac arrhythmias;
- the presence of a pacemaker;
- malignant neoplasms;
- pregnancy.

Galvanization, or electrophoresis, is a safe and highly effective treatment method used at the "Kuyalnik" Sanatorium under the supervision of experienced specialists. It allows achieving a rapid and stable therapeutic effect, improving the overall health of patients.
